... for a project motor and tranny. Preferably pre-85 and not Calif. spec. Unless of course it doesn't have the trap oxidizer. Paint not that important but interior must be nice!

If I find it the 190 goes cheap!

probably $3k given its condition, 2500 for a Forum member. Not sure the numbers work on my project, as all the nice shells out there are on the left coast and I'm on the right... The extra grand to have a vehicle shipped back east just about kills it. I'm finding there is great demand for these cars given the trend toward waste oil conversion and biodiesel. The search continues!

Yea i see that u live in Gathersburg i live in Hagerstown not that far away and at least for my two benzes i dont have rust problems but i think in 86 they started undercoating more. Thats nice a bad price for the 190 i'd trade u my 300sdl for it. But i know u want a wagon

I don't necessarily want a wagon so much as a super-dependable diesel that'll get me around 30 mpg. Am looking at the possibility of some work out in Herndon, meaning lots of Beltway miles... anyway, my wagon's going to the kid if I find a decent vehicle and I'm selling hers... Might be interested. Maybe I'll cruise on up and take a look at the SDL. What's your schedule next week? And what the bloody h*ll is all this talk about a snake?
