I am a new member to MercedesForum.com. I hope that I am posting this request properly. If not, tutor me please -- I'm open to all of your tips and suggestions.

First, I want to buy a used R-Class with 4matic. At this point, I prefer a diesel over a gas model, but am open to either. I am looking for a clean (exterior, interior & mechanicals), decently equipped, low-mileage R-class in black, blue or gray. I am a cash buyer and need a car sooner than later.

Secondly, does anyone have information whether a 2008 R320 diesel engine is better or worse than a 2009/2010 R320 BlueTec diesel. Any suggestions on wheter to buy 2008 vs. 2009 vs. 2010 -- any markably better a/o more reliable? What are the key big-money reliability problems with any of the above model years a/o models (R320 vs. R350).
