Hi can anyone help, when engines hot i get a whineing noise comming from the power steering area checked fluid its ok cant hear it unless driving with window down dosent affect preformance just annoying makes engine sound rattlely and tappety could the belt be loose? dosent feel so, also the dogleg gearbox gives a rattle but once clutch is pressed its fine.

if you can hear it when standing still ,remove the belt and see if noise dissapears .it will help you to narrow down your search

 

The clutch noise sounds like the thrust bearing.
Leave it till the clutch is worn out or the bearing fails, (big job)
