My name is Kerry and I just bought a car from a friend of mine and he bought it from the owner that had it setting in the Oak grove Ill car meseum for many years, it has 78000 original miles but needs work due to just setting vacum line sre brittle and boots on the rear axel need to be replaced so it will go into gear. Usually, a vehicle is worth just what you can get for it. So, yours needs work, and the buyer will discount in his or her head the cost of repairs. Some people can do some of the work themselves and can or can't get replacement parts and will figure that in as well.
