Alternator belt on 190e

I need to change the alternator belt on a 190e. How do I do that? Are there any nice webpages with a step by step guide on how to do it?

Thanks in advance.

First off, whats the year and model? Some models came with either a single or multiple drivebelt system.

Sorry I cant help you. My Haynes manual only goes up to '88 and I dont know if the procedure is the same for '89.

Heres a diagram layout of the single serpentine belt.

replace alternater belt on 1985 190e

Hi, I need help getting rid of that loud squealing sound. The current belt is slack, and I can turn the alternater with my hand when the car is off. I'm a newbie and need help.
Is it possible to get a step by step guide, from someone on here.
If so thanks a lot. And if not, any tips will help. Thanks.
