81 300SD Turbo Boost Adjust....?
 

Ok... So i hooked up a pressure gauge before i did anything (see pic)

Adjusting what "looked" like the BOV one or 2 turns in either direction did nothing (see pic)

So then I realized that the Wastegate needs to be adjusted... But there isnt any adjustments that i can see... Soo I did something tha I KNOW shouldnt be done...
I unhooked the wastegate hose form my tee.. and pugged the tee so my gauge still worked. then brove it about 3 blocks to see how much PSI i'd get. It got up to 21PSI. Knowing the sin that i Had commited I hooked it back up Correctly before I drive back home.

SO what do i do here? I want more Boost! dont get me wrong... im not racing this thing... I just like to make improvements to things by adjusting whats available on the car :^) Ive heard more boost and adjusting the ALDL SLIGHTLY can make a difference...

any thoughts?

oh.. and i put on an "ultra spiffy" intake system.. (see pic)

PVC pipe and a coupler with a cone filter.
