Default 420sel wheel help

Hello,

I hit a piece of tread driving over the Benjamin Franklin Bridge last week. It ruined my wheel.

It's tough to see but the lip it self is cracked.

Now I purchased a new wheel, and have the vin number of the car it came off of, a 420sel. But the wheel is different. First thing I noticed was my lug nuts don't fit. Then there are a few more subtle differences.

1. The edge, not sure of the technical term, is wider on mine. It does make it a pain to balance, but I end up cleaning where I need to put the weights and sticky them on.

Mine.

2. the wholes are drilled differently.

3 the inner wall is shaped differently. Mine has a lip while the replacement is more curved.

Mine.

Its a bit hard to see the difference but

Replacement.

I do not see the MB logo anywhere on my wheel. but it does say made in Germany. the replacement has the MB tag on it.

I don't know which would be better, finding out I have 4 knock off wheels (well now 3 and a spare) and having the right wheel to replace it, or having to ship this thing back.

I see the following markings on mine.

Made in germany
0270525
7J x 15 H2

Lastly the center whole on the wheel I have appears to be slightly larger, and straight through where the replacement has a lip that narrows.

Any feed back would be extremely helpful. I don't want to send the parts supplier on a goose hunt for a knock off.

im no expert, but my 1st thought would be the lack of an MB anything on the current set of wheels...
