The hood release cable on the 190e broke at the point where the cable meets the latch. Our problem is that we can't get the hood open in order to repair the cable. Does anyone how to get the hood open?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you just break the cable in in side you can just cut the cable and pulling out the tube ,then release the hood.
if your cable break at under hood ,try to use a piece of wood stick ,use the srewdriver pry up the hood,and pustick the wood between it.then make a metal hook to find the cable release latch.pull that and release!you should have enought space to do that.
if you dont know what i mean,try to open one of the same car hood and find out what i mean.
