My g/f's dad has an 83 300SD and his sunroof is stuck open. Is there anyway to manually close it? Please help, it's been raining a lot and it's wide open.

 

Sorry, I just seen this post. Haven't been in the other model section in a while.

There is a manuel **** in the trunk usually found on the driver side (opposite side then the door to the gas tank cap.). Pull back the carpet on that side and it's a white (or might be another color for that year.) ****. I forget the shape of the hole or tool you will need to turn the **** because I haven't looked at mine in a while and my Mercedes is not with me right now.

Thib, not to be mean but jsut as a suggestion you may want to read through the manual completely for it, or have him do so. There are countless little neat tricks tips features and pointers throughout almost every diesel Benz that you can only discover by reading about. For instance, it is likely that that model has a built in engine block heater- you jsut need to find teh cord and figure out how to use it.
