Hey guys...just un-tarped my Benz as I'm now on disability and need a simple ride to Dr, etc. After 9 months and a charge it started right up. This is a 1982 D 4-door and I'm second owner. Problem: not a lot of money to sink into dealer hr rates to tell me what it needs. Anybody know a reliable mechanic in St. Louis that won't hold me up on an estimate and repair. This car is cherry to me...and very dear. No rust, engine replaced about 5 yrs ago, sun roof smooth, interior 8/10. Really appreciate any help out there for suggestions. Just too poor to go the high road. HELP!
