My question is the following: I am considering buying a 1980 250 4dr that I have seen only with photo's sent to me on e-mail. I live in Santa Marta, Colombia S.A. and buying from a party in Bogata through a mutual friend. The condition of the car is excellent....but I would like to know what a fair market price is?.....does this model have a gasoline engine vs. diesel? (owner states it is gasoline) What are the good points of this model as I seem to have a hard time finding much information for this year and model. Any help would be appreciated. Used cars in Colombia hold value vs. buying new with high tariff and taxes. My cost would be $5,200.us. dollors which includes delivery from Bogata 1,200 miles away.
