After over 2 decades, I finally bought a 2.3 16V cosworth. Its a 85 model ex-UK car. It was a car I wish I could have back in the 80's when I was a college student. Anyway I am starting to restore it and currently sourcing for the front spoiler,side skirts and rear apron. Any suggest from anyone on where is the best place to look for parts etc? I may need some other bits and pieces in the coming months and would like to be prepared. One of the first thing is the stopwatch in the centre console. It seem like a common problem...black out of the LCD. Any idea where can we get a new piece?

Check out ebay.de , since they originated from that area, you probably have a better chance of getting those parts. I know they are extremely hard to get here.

yeh, i need a few bits, lap timer, front wings, headlight wipers, heater/fans dont work, radiator, spoiler, would love a new set of amg wheels but i am also trying to save for building a house. wife will not let me spend very much!

yogi you can still get the stopwatch new from mercedes but very expensive (around $500) for something that looks like some 1980's pep boys dash clock
