Umm.....let's try suing the US automanufacturers, ak original domestics, not toyota and Honda. We're producing the stupid useless vehicles with -3 mpg and smog levels that can kill Jesus. it's kind of a dumb legal battle, but I personally hope the state wins...only on grounds that if they win, the car manufacturers will have to do something about it. That means getting off their butts for a while. Maybe a beginning of hydrogen studies for some...

How can one prove any one car maker is culpable for a specific volume of poluted air? Once the fumes leave the tailpipe, they enter the atmosphere and circle the globe. No way to accurately divide damages.
