And STILL no reply to my idea for solving this mess. I agree that ALL arabs are not the problem (some Poles pining for the good old days of the east block, maybe...?), but CAN be part of the solution. I will be sad when I have to ride around looking for men in dirty night shirts along with Elk during hunting season. Thanks for the props.

Since you worked for Saudis, I would expect that you learn at least basics about the culture, but evidently they didn't put you in jail for nothing.
I consider informing Thenut about anything -waste of time, but next time you have opportunity sleepwalker, bear in mind, that Muslims don't allow their women to work in public. My knowledge about them is second-handed, but from what I know Saudis Airlines for position of fly attendants hire women from all around the World, but ... Saudi Arabia.

US General Shoomaker stated today that the Army is planning on keeping the numbers of US soldiers at the present level till mid 2009, beyond the Bush presidency. Currently there are in excess of 100,000 US Army troops in Iraq, one ponders on several things.
What will the American People think of this commitment - can the US afford this type of mass expenditure, what will it do to the US economy -
Will all of the present Allies go along with the same commitment-
Will this announcement not just incite more retaliatory actions in the area, and will the area of violence spread to say, Jordan.
It looks more like a conflict that was easy to start, it's going to be near impossible to stop.
What will the American People think of this commitment - can the US afford this type of mass expenditure, what will it do to the US economy -
