Hello...
looking for some help here please. I have a 2001 ML270 auto with 120k on the clock, I have owned it for approx 2 years now with trouble free motoring until this week, where i was towing our caravan...which i have done several times before...and upon trying to take a gradual incline it seemed to struggle a bit...put my foot down harder to activate the kick down ...didnt activate.. dropped it down a gear...still the same. It did get me up the hill, however on the decline...it just cut out on me with no warning at all. I tried to restart it...turned over but wouldn't start..then after about 20 minutes it started again. I drove for about 20 miles then it did the exact same thing again...where i eventually called the AA...and got towed home. Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
