Hello, I've owned a lot of different makes but just bought our first MB. 1982 300TD Wagon. A gorgeous, 100% original 75K miles car. My wife is "giddy" and she doesn't get giddy over cars very easy! I enjoy doing as much of the work as possible on my cars. What should I do first, buy a shop manual? Also, what should I look out for in this car as far as maintenance? My first diesel, so that is all new to me. Where is the best place for parts? Even though this is a one owner car, there is minimal documentation on any work done. Anything in particular I should look for? Any help is greatly appreciated!
