What the devil???
I have three small black buttons in the trim work on the left side of my dash that look factory installed. However, not a clue on what they might be used for. Any help would be appreciated. Car is a 1992 300sd

If I'm understanding you correctly, I think this is a general install on most cars if you decide to add any aftermarket switches to control things like extra lights, push-button start, etc..
