I'm looking for a cross-reference application for the rear shocks on my 300D, W123 chassis. I want to install air-lift shocks to level it with heavy loads. I don't care if they're an EXACT fit, just so they level the car when I'm towing my trailer.

I put a pair of Monroe Loadlevelers for a Chevy in my VW truck and they worked great! They didn't have the same 'piston travel' that the VW shocks had, but that was OK because I always had the truck loaded with tools.
