Hello out there,
I have a 1998 C230 with the following issue: the trunk switch light is on and the trunk is locked. My attempts to open the trunk by pulling the switch have not worked. The trunk opens with the remote (sometimes) but not with the switch. Operation of the trunk was fine until some fuses were replaced in the main fuse box to "repair" the seats which were not moving at all. And perhaps something else that might have happened at the upholstery shop I took the car to for a headliner repair job. Does anyone have any ideas how to proceed here?
