smart key housing replacement
 

i am about a $200.00 tow from the nearest mb dealership and have only one key, so i was a bit nervous when i started to take apart the key as per instructions i found on this forum. first i broke the part that holds the board in place, thats the only error i made. the board slid out very easy, a dab of super glue on the holder, after it dried, every thing went together nice. key works great in its new housing.
a 100 mile drive to the dealership and $250-$300 for a new key, or a couple nervous moments and a $35 ebay purchase.
thanks to this forum i a couple bucks richer.
