Hey guys,

This is more of favor to anyone out there who has an 06 C230. My car has had some electrical issues and I am not sure if this is one of them. The dealer says it is normal.

When I start my car the seat belt light comes on for a just a few seconds. It doesn't stay on until you buckle up. It doesn't come on when you are driving and you take your seat belt off.

Can any of you 2006 C230 owners check if this happens in your car and let me know.

i think usually the light will stay on unless you put on the belt. on some of the neweer cars, the seatbelt chime will chime until you put it on. or until you hit the R button on the cluster. then when you stop and go again it will beep again. but the light should stay on if you dont put on your belt.
