Hey everyone, new to the forum bought my new SLK just a day ago. From seattle. I bought used so I have a couple of issues as of this moment.

my question is why doesnt my domelight not come on when I open the door,and the middle switch keeps it on constant wihtout turning off. regardless if I close or open the door. also my cigarret lighter doesnt work. I tried to plug in my charger and no power came to it. I changed the sue of it and it popped. So now its popped twice. Any ideas?

Hey Mark, welcome to the forums.

I also bought my old SLK320 used. My cigarrette lighter didn't work either. They ordered a new one, but I never had it put in before I got rid of it. So, I can't help you with that one. There should be a setting that you can switch over on the light panel to work when you open the door. I forget which one it is though. Just test it out by switching it. If it doesn't work, then there is probably a blown fuse for that setting, or something with the wiring itself.

 

I have a Black SLK320 here in Longview, WA. I think there are 3 other SLK's in the area and they are 230's. I see a lot of SLK's in Vancouver, mostly silver. Welcome to the neighborhood!
