Hi everyone looking for a bit of help/info i have a 02 ml270 and my local mechanic (mercedes approved) replaced my brake discs callipers and pads (pads now changed twice and got the expensive ones) but there is still a very loud screeching when i brake but only at low speeds. What can be the problem is it the type of discs?? The brakes were fitted about 5 monts ago

 

Authentic Mercedes brakes parts have the mercedes emblem and part number boldly painted on the pads, and engraved into the rotors. Depending on the type of wheel you have, you may be able to verify the parts simply by looking through the spokes of your wheel.

 

either not resurfacing the rotors or forgetting to put the shime plates back onto the back of the pads can cause screeching
