New member, new problem, for me, that is!
My latest purchase,80 450SL, last week. Problem from previous owner -ruptured coolant reservoir, overheated, drove to shop, repaired, droveaway oblivious to temp and oil pressure gages! Finally noticed a problem, again drove to repair shop! Now oil pan has coolant and coolant at spark plugs. Need advice on how to proceed from this point. I trailered it home yesterday and can't wait to resurrect another beautiful SL! Can do almost anything mechanical, but never faced this one before! Thanks in advance, John.[:@]
