Currently own a steel gray 2014 E-Cab. Considering a new or slightly used SL550. Hope to learn to better navigate this site soon. Thanks for having this forum, and thanks to all members!

They are great cars. Very high tech. I work on a lot of them. The biggest problem is see is lack of proper maintenance. SL will require more $ than you E class.

Thanks, FL-BENZTECH! Do the SL's require more maintenance and at shorter intervals or is the increased cost due to owners of SL's not getting proper maintenance at recommended intervals? Or is the cost for maintenance simply higher than the E class? Lastly, would you mind giving me a comparison estimate for services between my E-350 Cab and a new SL550? Thanks in advance for any information in regards to service costs!

FL-BENZTECH, I just thought of another question. I hope you do not mind. I am contemplating the ABC-curve option and wonder about its reliability and need for service. I also do not know if it would even be worth the extra $4k! I tend to think that the car should already drive like it is on rails at around $115-120k???

Thank you! Welcome aboard, yourself! Do you have an opinion on the Active Body Control option at $4,090.00?
