i am new to this forum, but not new to mercedes...have a 96 s320 that i would really love to do some customizing too. i would appreciate any advice! thanks!

Congratulation. According to my experience, you can upgrade anything but avoiding electrical system as much as you can since it is a very sensitive part in Benz and once you were messed it up, it won't come back to normal anymore.
