New to forum, first question
 

Hello all. I am new to the forums with 2 recently acquired 300td's. One is an 84, the other is an 85. The 84, white with green interior, is a european model with an excellent engine and body, but little else. She has been christened "The Molar." The 85, navy blue with tan interior is a US model also with an excellent engine, and fair mechanicals, but more rust and bodywork than i would like. Body is salvageable, but will take time and $$$. She has been named "Helga." I plan on doing Lovecraft conversions on both. I plan on doing quite a bit of the general maintenance and restoration work myself, hence the trek to the forums.

Initially, i have two issues i would like to address asap. Neither of the cars has a working cruise control. I am certain there are many posts, but if someone could point me to a good point of reference to get a feel for the most common problems, it would be greatly appreciated.
