a new cdi owner: how to shut off the cd player?

Hi All,

I've just gotten an 06 E320 CDI. I have to say the diesel engine is lovely. I am however still struggling with the command system after 3 weeks. Could anyone tell me how I can turn off the stereo while I am using the navigation system? Should I just press the mute button?

That's why I wouldn't buy a new Mercedes. Too many buttons! Too many electronics! If someone finds out how to turn the CD player off, let me know too.

The first response to my first posting in this forum is so very heart warming and insightful. I am sure I'll be enjoying my cdi for many years to come and can rely on this forum for informative and useful information. All I have to do now is to figure out how to delete the bookmark to this page.
