I own a black 05 C230 K, I used to stay in an apartment and my car was one of the better cars in there. In April I had to leave my car for 2 weeks as I had gone to another country to attend my grandmother's funeral. During the 2 weeks i left my car somebody 'keyed' it leaving deep and long scrapes on the sides of the hood and on the hood itself. I have moved to my own home now and decide to make my car look fresh again... any suggestion on how to do it? I tried to detail it and I tried using compound but I can't get rid of it... Please help.. Thanks

Call your insurance agent.

If it's not covered it should only cost a few hundred dollars at any decent body shop. In the future, you might want to consider a good alarm and at least a high quality cover if you intend to leave the car sitting more than a couple days.
