My navigation drive was bad I sent it to united radio for repairs, they replaced the board. When I got it back it will not power up. They said it worked find on the bench. Is my problem in the navigation unit or something else? However I did
tie my yellow and orange cables together so the radio would work.

I recently purchased a 1985 Mercedes 300SD and had a couple questions about it. First of all..now that the weather is cold i've noticed a couple of things. Firstly, when first started when the engine is cold it has a slight knocking sound but it goes away once the engine has reached operating temperature. I've been told it could be timing or injectors, but not from anyone with any real knowhow on diesels. Also..my heater is acting odd. When the car is warm, i can turn the heater on and it'll heat the cab, but as soon as i get moving over about 40mph it begins blowing either luke-warm or cold air. What could be the cause of this? I'd really appreciate some feedback. Thanks a bunch.

Hi. My 88 560sec w/ 90k mi acts like it is starving for fuel momentarily. Then runs normally for a while, then bogs down again. Seems to happen more frequently on 1/2 tank or less. I don't want to replace the pump if it only needs a filter. Can you help? Thanks in advance. mend

I just purchased a 1999 C280. so far so good except that the driver and passenger power seats do not work. Mirrors work sunroof work as well as the windows all operate fine. any suggestions?

 

Hello,

I recently hosed down my Engine, now It's not running so well.
there was water around the Spark Plugs, cleaned and dried out now.
also the Plug for the Throttle body had some moisture in it.
left it idling for almost 1 hour then took it for a spin, worked great until i turned it of.
After a rough start, it Idles fine, but when I run up the rpm it run's real bad.
feels like only 2 or 3 Cylinders are running.
any Idea where else to check for water?

recently purchased a 08 ml 350 with mb comand system it was working ok but now all i get is the mb logo nothing else radio plays but i cant change stations as the display stays on mb screen can i reset this? thanks

 

Just a heads up to people posting here ... I don't think anyone gets any response anymore from this thread ... I've been subscribed for six months to it and have yet to get answered.

Btw just in case anyone else ever has clk chirping issues - it's most likely your horn.
