Lack of power
 

Hi All,
I am new to the forum. Hope you guys can help me with a question or two every now and then.
I own a c270 CDI (2004 model). This past weekend, I had a problem when I tried accelerating, and there was no power and the car did not even "kick down". It has been towed in to the nearest Merc dealer, and I have not heard from them yet. 2 weeks ago, I had another problem where the car refused to start. The dealer replaced the 3 low pressure fuel lines that lie on top of the engine. These were cracked and perishing. That seemed to fix the problem, however I don't know if this new "lack of power" problem has anything to do with it. Can anyone suggest what this could be.
