I have always liked the style of the '89 300SE so when I came across one at a local used car lot I thought "why not?" It is black with lots of chrome and a nice interior. There is no rust, which is the main reason I thought it would be a good candidate for a minor overhaul. It runs well but based on what I've read on this forum, it could use a distributor cap and rotor due to trouble maintaining idle speed once warmed up. I plan on some minor body work(door dings and some alignment issues) and then drive it forever!
