Hello:

Has anyone had any luck with the FM transmitters for the iPod. I spoke to only 1 friend who has 1 and she was very disappointed with the quality.

I trips are illegl in UK something to do with being a pirate radio station .... However i have tried one and the reception is ok in short spurts... If you drive for a time you have to keep tuning to free air.... It as also easier if you can manualy tune the radio, in some mercs you cant, it just skips between broardcasts..

One thing I will say...If you're planning on upgrading your sound system later and adding an amplifier and subwoofer, spend the money now on the JL Audio Clean Sweep DSP and SSI modules. The DSP has an Auxiliary In that interfaces with your factory radio and allows the use of MP3 players without sacrificing sound quality. The DSP is around $300 and the SSI is around $110. They also will allow you to add multiple amplifiers should you so choose and they greatly improve the factory audio quality.
