I've just got myself my first MB. It's a 1998 CLK230 Kompressor Cabriolet with just over 20k on the clock and it's very, very clean all round.
I've run Jaguars for the past 30 years - including a series 1 E type for 15 years and several MK2's, XJ6's and XJS' and have loved them so I'm hoping that the reputaion that MB has (apart from it's well-documented 'quality issues' of a few years ago) is well-deserved.
