Hi Newbie with 300CE problem
I have an '89 which I bought in '09 with 130K on it, now has about 150.
Car starts fine in morning, runs for 8-9 min until normal operatiing temp is reached, then will start stuttering and then just die, even while in motion.
This occurs usually at low speeds 25-35mph. Car will not restart for 1/2 to 45 min. I saw somewhere that this could be due to the 'thermostat'? Also possibly TPS or CPS. Am at a loss, also my mechanic is stumped, he richeened the mixture by 2 clicks but that does not prevent. Have resorted to warmup in
drive for 15 min, shut down and let it be for 30-60min. Then will run normally the rest of the day with no dieing. Any ideas???
