Default headlight wipers & traction control

Just got a 92 SL500 AMG. A ton of fun except for those nasty hydraulic pumps on top of the windshield which I've replaced already. Where the heck is the switch to turn the headlight wipers on and how do I turn the traction control off?

Still Waiting..... Is there anyone out there that can tell me how to turn off or disable the traction control on my 92 SL500 AMG?

I joined this forum in anticipation of sharing information. I have had 96 views of my post but no responses..... Can anyone help me with the above question?
Thanks

Default Turning off Traction control

I have just bought a 1990 SL500 - the manual states you can't turn it off.
This was confirmed by a review done by the Unique Car Magazine in Australia - hope this helps

A friend found the “solution” to implementing an ASR (traction control) defeat for the SL 500. This has been done by a number of people with the same, or similar MB models. Some have just pulled some relays, but then you loose ASR and ABS completely, which is not a good idea. Others have wired in a relay(s) and a switch to turn ASR off at times. Some have added and actual “ASR” switch from another MB model and mounted in the console (very slick). The switch then activates a relay to temporarily disable the ASR function. Renntech also used to make a kit for the ASR defeat, not sure if it’s still available. Another guy made up some kits and sold them for $200 - $250. Does your car have a winter tire chain light in the instrument cluster?

Finally, here is one person’s take on this: http://www.2phast.com/500e/ (go to Performance Upgrades and scroll down to the ASR defeat section, also good info here on the 1st gear start mod)
