Fellas, I have a 300d with gauges that are acting crazy the temp gauge went all the way to 120 and I got out the car thinking it was going to blow when I took the radiator cap off nothing no steam no pressure nothing.. I then drove by my local mechanic and he stated my gauge is blown. My next question begin is , are their any fuses I should check and if so what are the fuses numbers so I can cut right to the chase.. also what type of remedies do you guys have for this type of situation and have you seen this happen before.

What year is your 300D ?

It was made from '75 to '93 so there are a few differences.

 

Mine is a 1983 300D Turbo

 

Well guys here's a follow up I bought a new instrument gauge from the net and changed out the bad one I had and it works but one problem now the dang dash lights don't work. I"M STUMPED~! BAD DASH INSTRUMENTS LIGHTS WORK>> GOOD INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHT NO WORKIE ANY ONE EVER SEEN Anything is bazarre? ( sorry spk)

 

Have you tried swapping bulbs ?


Also, take a close look at the bulb socket(s) for any type of corrosion.
