Default First time mercedes owner

Hi,
just thought I'd introduce myself. I bought my first merc yesterday, 2001 c200k avantgarde. 1 owner from new and full dealer service history, only 80k on the clock. I never thought i'd buy one to be honest, always had audi's/bmw's. It drives like an absolute dream. After going through all the manuals there are a few things I could need help with, but I'll see what the search feature brings up.

Hi there, I am also new to MB as a matter of fact I do not even own one yet, since I am into performance and handling, I have been considering a MB from the AMG series to be specific, E 55, S55, or S600, I do not have lots of money so I decided the pre owned or "used" approach, however I do not know that many people that drives MB due to the fact that I live in a place that supports american vehicles more for a patriotic reason than reliability or performance, this reason made me to come to this forum so I can listen to comments, tips, advice, first hand from owners and not a salesman that drives a KIA or a HYUNDAI, I will appreciate all the positive imput that you fellas can give I will appreciate enormously Thank You, Ruben Lopez.

There are so many wonderful automobiles from which to choose on the market today. IMHO, if you decide to honest give the MB an honest shot at ownership, I think you will find that it will grow on you. And before you know it, you won't want to settle for anything else. But to be fair, you may even have other automobiles in your fleet that you regard on the same level, but you will certainly not want to be without an MB as part of that fleet, IMHO.

You may, however, run into a support issue. If the area is as you've stated, there is probably not a lot of MB Dealerships, or persons who are qualified to service the MB like it should be serviced. Remember, it's not a Ford, or a Hyundai. It's a Mercedes Benz. Best to you in your decision making process.

Welcome to the forum.
