hello my name is steve and my parents just bought a 2004 e500. and as i do all the maintaince on all of their other cars i am in charge of this one aswell.

how often should the timing set be changed? (belt or chain)

where is a good place to buy parts from?

how do i reset the maintaince log in the cars display.

it seems like a really good car so far. their first mb though. recently all of their other cars have been vw diesels

any things i should take care of asap?

find a local benz mechanic and become friends with him. and start saving some cash for parts and tires in the future down the road.
