Wondering if you would mind giving me a thumbs up or down on a 2003 C230 Coupe.

I'm looking at one with 17k miles for $18,000. Some forums and reviews slam the car and others love it.

I'm wondering if you've have had good reliability experiences.

It properly has some factory warranty ledt, and if it's Starmarked, I would go, How much optional equipment does it have, is it a Mercedes dealer car or a private lot car. If private lot, I would be cautious, if a dealer then you should be OK, If it is not STARMARED, insist on one. The price is below average for that car also. Need more information to help.

 

The car has 2 years left on the warranty or 33k miles. It's got the optional premium package ($2700).

What does Starmarked mean? Is that just getting it checked out by a mechanic?

This is a private party sale. The guys wife just left him and he needs to unload the car.
