Classic Benz cost of ownership query...
Hello all!
I am thinking of replacing my Acura TSX with an older Mercedes as I am back in university and cannot make any more monthly payments, and would prefer a car that is fun and interesting. There are many interesting options for a few thousand dollars when it comes to used Mercedes, from 190Es to 1970's 450SLCs. As I am now a student, my question now becomes maintenance and cost of ownership. Can someone suggest to me a model that would be cheap to run and cheap to fix? Is any Mercedes model that I could afford for a few thousand comparable to Honda/Toyota in terms of reliability?
