another old Merc owner
Hi, Ive just joined up.
I own a 1971/2 250 CE Coupe and a 1971 220D Crayford Estate conversion which, I believe, is the last survivor of this type in the UK. Both are currently restoration projects although the Coupe is not as bad bodily as the Estate but I do have electrical problems at the moment (see other posting). I'm in the Torbay area of the UK and I'd love to hear from or meet anyone with similar vehicles with a view to exchange of info.
I also own several other 50's & 60's classics (all British) and my daily driver is a 65 Austin A40.
Happy New Year to all

Cheers Ron, latest news is I've just bought a '83 230TE estate for the paltry sum of £200 which should keep the wife quiet now when she goes shopping. Loads of space in the back for bags, kids, dogs etc .
Thanks for the welcome , Happy New Year to all Stateside.
