Amg yes or no?
 

Mechanic said that my C230 AMG, is not an AMG… he is not a Certified Mercedes mechanic, but is there a way to tell if it is or not? (History: back in 2010, did not buy the car from a dealer.):confused:

A true //////AMG car will have an AMG badge in the Tachometer and on the seat backrest and on the engine cover.. Just because It might have AMG on the wheels or exhaust pipe doesn't mean the car is AMG. Also AMG cars are badged with 2 digits, S55, C32, C43, S63, C55. etc. Many people will take off the old badges and replace them with AMG badges.
