Exclamation Airmatic Help

2005 S500 with 55,000, started getting a message last week that I need to take it to the shop for Airmatic. Called the dealer, told it was probably a sensor, no need to rush, get in when I can. Another mechanic told me that my car could stop at any moment, get the work done now. Maybe it could be a fuse? I don't know. The ride is still the same, not rough, it just doesn't go up any more.

I need an experts advice. Thanks

The Airmatic System is no longer regulating the vehicle hight. Be careful if the level goes to low you can damage the front fenders and damage the front tires. This vehicles suffer from air compressors, the compressor that pumps air into your suspension air bellows(they are air springs, the more air the higher the vehicle the less air the lower the vehicle).
