98 E300 Advantgarde Parking Aid
Hi to one and all, I’ve just bought a 1998, E300 TD Advantgarde estate, the owner’s manual for the car is missing, and so I seek help with the following:
How do you use the reversing parking aid?
The switch on the centre consult has a red light on (which seems to indicate its switch off) and when the bottom of the switch is pressed the light goes out and for a few seconds and there’s a loud high pitch noise and the reversing aid visuals on the dash and on the roof light up, but when reversing there is no audible alarm when you get close to a car or wall etc, I assume there’s a fault, but hoping it’s just my incompetence!
