Hello all, New to this forum. I own a 1979 280SE which I bought for my mother before she died. She loved that car. Didn't have the heart to sell it so I garaged it at a friends house a year ago. Started right up this week end. Ran like a dream. Unbelievable German workmanship!

did the battery still kicks even without charging or dis-connecting?

Battery was connected and not charged.

I REMEMBER THE 280 WITH THE 4 BARREL CARB...
