2004 CLK 500 Cabriolet
 

Hi Everyone: we are a new member and the proud owner of this beautiful vehicle. Ours is grey, with the light grey interior, loaded to the hiltz and you just gotta love the wood trim.

My question is our 4 year warranty is running out this Friday. We still have the option to purchase the extended which will give us (well somewhat bumper to bumper) coverage until 2010 and powertrain until 2011.

The cost 2,800 Cdn. Do we bit the bullet and get it? The waranty is with Mercedes Benz. Seeing all the stuff in this car, we're just scared that for instance if the air conditioner blows, that's $2,400 in itself. So what do you think? We aren't rich, we got a great deal on this car second hand but if it has issues in the future, I know we'll have problems dealing with them financially.

Love the car though.. it's a beauty. Too bad we don't live in Florida! We have to park it in the garage for almost 6 months because of the winters we have in Toronto.
