I've had it for 2 weeks. So far so good - it's only spent 1/2 of the time at the mechanics (gaskets)! Next week it goes to the spa for a week of body work (rust around the edges - all the edges).

 

Actually, this is my third MB. My first was a late '50s or early '60s 220 SB, acquired in the summer of '72. I learned several valuable lessons about MBs from that one, such as never to buy a car that comes with two boxes of spare parts (carburators) in the trunk.
