2000 sl500 sun visor

Default 2000 sl500 sun visor
i have 2000 sl500.a rectangular plastic piece broke next to sun visior.plastic piece is rectangular with hole for sun visior goes in.in order to replace piece sun visior must come off and metal rod goes via slot.how do i take rod from sun visior off thanks doc
