I am new to the forum and have owned many benzes. I currently have a 95 S500 and a 99 E320 wagon. I am trying to replace the vacuum pump that controls the power door locks. It is under the rear seat. I bought a used one out of a 1996 that the dealer said should work, but the vacuum inlet ports are totally different looking. Is there an adapter I need or am I just screwed into buying the new $400 part from a 1995? I really appreciate any feedback anyone can provide. Thanks.

 

they were right, but they should include the modification/adapter kit!

it is consist of connector, tee, hose, etc. small parts in one packet.
